Again Eadon demonstrates that he is a master at combining a fact-based setting with a fictional story. It is a contemporary mystery that turns into a love story that turns into a mystery again. Wow! What a cool surprise at the end. I may be biased just having read it, but I think LATENT IMAGE is one of Jack Eadon's best books. And I've read all of them now! Wait, I still have to read Gigolo on the Row! It captures the reality of finding romance on line—the passion and the hardships. I met and fell in love with my own wonderful husband exactly this way! Lacey's Day is a wonderful book I could read again and again (I probably will!). I encourage everyone to read this book, especially you romantic types!! I can definitely see this acted out on stage. I've always wondered how a medium like e-mail could bring people together and create such a strong bond. Throughout the book, I kept reading on to see how this relationship would develop. With every turn of the page, envy and love struggle to keep up with each other. That dynamic plays out with a surprising crescendo. It causes the reader to reflect and analyze how envy might have played a role in his or her own life. Not only does the reader gain insight into the powerful emotions of these brothers, but the reader's emotions take a "hit" as well. Great Read!Rita Markovics I found this book to be truly riveting. I had heard of Superfetation occurring in dog breeding but never as it related to humans. I have to admit that I was bit squeamish about the first part of the book where Jack described Marcus and Roger’s relationship in-utero. However, once they were born I didn't want to put the book down. I have always been fascinated by personalities, the reasons people do things and relationships. Mr. Eadon describes in great detail the personality development of these twins as they compete in nearly every aspect of life. Mr. Eaton masterfully crafts his characters and gives the book life as he develops their personalities. He gives us insights into perception; for example, how Roger interprets the concept of lying. The title of the book, “Head Trip”, describes well the effects envy can have on the best of us. I look forward to following Roger and Marcus through "A Consequence of Greed" and the rest of Mr. Eadon's "Garden of Eadon” series. M. Minick, Downers Grove, IL This was a great read! I loved how the author, Jack Eadon, uses the seven deadly sins as the back story to his books. This book on Envy was written in such a profound and interesting manner that you are going to want to read this great series. Each of the seven deadly sins has been written about in a stand alone nature.
